Study Plan: December, 2010

Well, my November study plan did not go as I hoped. I'm not quite sure what happened, but I had a hard time finishing up Learning JavaScript and I'm still not done with The Art of Agile Development. The latter I've been trying to read quickly (for reasons I'll explain at a later date), but I consistently find myself slowing down with it. I don't know whether to say that's frustrating or not -- I guess that's a testament to it being well-written and interesting.

Here's my December reading list. I think I'm going to focus just on two titles because they're denser and they'll give me more to consider and clearly 5 was too many.
  1. The Art of Agile Development: Only about 80 pages left to this so I hope to finish it this weekend.
  2. C# in Depth: I'm 3 chapters in and I'm already wondering if I should read it twice, back-to-back, to help me retain and grasp more of it.
  3. Clean Code: I read the introduction and chapter 1 but forced myself to put it down so I would finish The Art of Agile first. I like Uncle Bob's writing style.
Hopefully I can keep on track this month.
